We're independent opticians in the middle of Galashiels, and many of our customers have been coming to us their whole lives. Every eye test is unhurried and clearly explained, so you'll leave knowing exactly what's going on with your eyes and our plan for you. When it comes to choosing frames we take our time too, helping you find a pair that genuinely suits you rather than rushing the decision.

Do I need to book an appointment?
It's best to book ahead so we can give you a full, unhurried test. Give us a ring on 01896 755891 and we'll find a time that suits you.
Can you help me choose frames?
Of course. Choosing frames is one of our favourite parts of the job, and we'll happily take the time to help you find a pair that fits well and suits your face.
Is the practice wheelchair accessible?
Yes. We have a step-free, wheelchair accessible entrance, and we'll always do what we can to make your visit comfortable. Just let us know if there's anything that would help.
Do you fit contact lenses?
We do. We offer contact lens fittings and trials, and can set you up with regular supplies once you're happy with the fit.
Can you repair my glasses?
Pop in and we'll take a look. Most small repairs and adjustments, like tightening screws or straightening arms, we can sort while you wait.
Where are you and is there parking nearby?
You'll find us at 23-24 Bank Street in the centre of Galashiels, with public car parks a short walk away.
